Competition rules (english)

•ADMITTED STYLES:

The following categories are admitted as BJCP 2021 Style Guidelines:

LEGEND ⭐

There’s no chanche for present styles brewed in an old way (old porters, old saisons etc), but every year a famous beer recipe is admitted, as a bonus style.

This year it is Spรจciale Belge, a belgian twist on english bitter, difficult to find. There are still few breweries that try to keep it alive.

24B Belgian Pale Ale (Spรจciale Belge)

The recipe written Jamil Zainasheff on Brew Your Own is strongly suggested and refers to Double White, as there are not too much belgian recipes available anywhere. Just remember to find a classic belgian yeastable to ferment in a moderate way to make sure to brew within style guidelines.

It is strongly recommended not to add herbs, spices, as they could leave you out of style. Just look for a Spรจciale Belge in shops and try to imitate it.
